James Vite, DVM

Dr. James grew up as an Army brat, and he has lived in Kansas, Hawaii, Maryland, Germany, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1999 with a B.A. degree. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. He is the sole owner of Countryside Animal Hospital, PC. He is a member of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. His general interests include: dermatology, surgery, and overall client education.

In his spare time, Dr. James enjoys spending time with his family (which includes two cats and a dog). He also enjoys participating in triathlons, 5K races, and 10K races — when he can find the time to train.
